The Full Pour
You are in historical Brussels, where the odds of getting a really good beer are extremely on your side. But what if you want to take a breather from all of those tripels, quads and lambics? Your solution is the Brussels Beer Project. Every aspect of this place stands in stark contrast to the baseline of the Brussels beer establishment around you. Founded in 2013, and supported by an army of crowdfunders, BBP is blazing a new path by pursuing new-world methods of collaboration and technique. The space is raw, meandering and urban. The beer options are many, creatively pushing the boundaries of various styles in all directions. Have a big group? Make your way to the back and gather next to the brewing heart of this venue.
Why is this on THL?
This entry is for those looking to experience a budding craft scene, in it's early stages. The energy of Brussels Beer Project feels pretty contagious and is immediately noticeable as you pass through the door. Everyone working there seems to be passionate about being a part of the action. The resulting vibe is that of both locals and tourists alike embracing this relatively new entity, which happens to be located in one of the world's greatest beer cities. When you consider how far they've come, in such a short amount of time, it seems that only amazing things can come from this Brussels big bang.
