The Full Pour
This eccentric beer bar in Vesterbro is an obligatory stop for beer enthusiasts visiting Copenhagen. The appreciation of The Big Lebowski (see picture) should provide good insight on the keen instincts of those running things around here. If that point is lost on you, than that's another conversation altogether. Expansive tables line the exterior space out front, while candle-lit nooks in the downstairs belly are ready for a completely different experience (think Danish hygge meets comfy lounge). Whichever area you choose to dwell, Fermentoren simply does not disappoint. The 24 beer taps (including a few of their own) feature beers from all over the world, with something for everyone. Still skeptical? Take a peak at the tap list HERE.
Why is this on THL?
Fermentoren has one of the best atmospheres going for a beer experience in Copenhagen and it will be a highlight of your stay. You'll see for yourself as you walk through the sweeping patio and descend those stairs into its quirky, warm, glow. It is here where time seems to stand still, as you drink in more then just a tasty beer. It feels like a hub for local beer culture too, so don't be surprised if you find yourself mingling with kind regulars and industry folks alike. If Jay happens to be behind the bar, you're not going to want to move on too quickly. He's the genuine article, is an excellent host and you'll come away ranking this one high on your must-return-to list.
